Hei!
To me, running is more than just a hobby, it’s a way of life. Whether it’s on a track, on the asphalt or on trails, it’s something that I enjoy when I’m doing it and think about when I’m not doing it.
This year I’ve ran over 1000km including my first marathon – 42 kilometers on the streets for Bucharest Marathon 2022. It was an amazing and humbling experience that I had been thinking about trying for a long time.
So, as a reward for achieving this running milestone of 42km I’m teaming up with Ajungem Mari (Growing Great), the educational program for children from foster centers and underprivileged environments.
I aim to continue running and to collect funds that will be used to provide therapy sessions for these children and teenagers, encouraging and supporting them into becoming independent, responsible, and happy adults.
They are at the age when they form their dreams, and we want them to understand that through determination and solid education they can become what they wish to be.
The first step would be to help them develop the ability to manage their emotions and to trust themselves.

Copiii şi tinerii vulnerabili din centrele de plasament au nevoie de şedinţe de psihoterapie ca să înveţe să-și exploreze și să-şi exprime în siguranță emoțiile dificile asociate cu traumele suferite: neglijența, abuzul, abandonul, instituționalizarea.
